Gellibrand’s Junior Girls Cricket program is designed to bring out the best in young players, all while having fun!
Our friendly and inclusive environment allows girls to learn new skills, make lifelong friendships, and experience the joy of cricket. Gellibrand has proven to be a real hub for female cricket in the inner west, having been an early adopter of girls’ cricket. We fielded our first girls’ side in 2019, and the program continues to grow. With several age groups competing in the Western Region Junior Cricket Association’s all girls’ divisions.
As a parent, it has been so enjoyable over the past three years watching my son and his team build self-confidence, form friendships, and have fun—all while learning to bat and bowl. We’re truly fortunate to have such a great cricket club in our local area, run by genuinely caring people.
Gellibrand is a great and inclusive cricket club. They work with you on your skills and help you improve them. I love how I get to play with my mates and get experience training and playing with the seniors. I love being involved with the club by scoring for the seniors and helping around the club.
From the come and try day I attended, I was super excited to play for Gellibrand. The coaches of the U16 girls were supportive and helped me develop my cricket skills over the season, and the girls were fun to play with and great teammates. I am super excited to play again next season.

How to Join & Play with us
Create an account, and register your child for the Junior Boys Cricket program at Gellibrand Cricket Club. Complete the form, provide necessary details, and pay the registration fee.
You’ll receive a confirmation email containing essential information such as the training schedule, match dates, and further instructions.
Training will begin on the scheduled dates. Coaches will guide your child through skills, teamwork, and match preparation.
Cheer on your child, and stay engaged with the club through social media or special events. For any assistance, reach out to the club’s administration team.
